Q: WHAT IF MY RIFLE ALREADY HAS SWIVEL STUDS?
A: Please see our Rifle Sling & Cartridge Bandolier for Lever Action Rifles WITH Swivel Studs.Q: ARE THESE SASS LEGAL?
A: Yes! The Single Action Shooting Society® RO Committee has determined that our Harnessed Rifle Slings are SASS legal. The SASS serves as the governing and sanctioning body for the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting™ and Wild Bunch Action Shooting™ worldwide.Q: HOW DOES THE HARNESS ATTACH?
A: Simply place the harness over the butt stock as shown and snap. The two snaps hold the harness securely in place.Q: WILL MY STOCK BE PROTECTED?
A: Yes. A pig skin inner liner over the snaps prevents wear against the rifle stock.Q: WHAT’S INCLUDED?
A: In short, everything. The harness, sling strap, swivels, magazine tube clamp, hex wrench and installation instructions are all included. (Cartridge Bandoliers and other accessories are sold separately – see “ACCESSORIES” tab.)Q: HOW IS THE FORE-END ATTACMENT MADE?
A: We supply a “Made in America” magazine tube clamp. This proven, two piece design allows for secure clamping without worry of marring or scratching.Q: WHAT IS THE DIAMETER RANGE OF THE MAGAZINE TUBE CLAMPS?
A:▼
#244 – .410″-.470″
#420256 – .540″-.590″
#265 – .610″-.670″
#272 – .700″-.750″
#282 – .750″-.800″
(We recommend measuring the outside diameter of your specific magazine tube and not relying on caliber to determine clamp size.)
Q: WHAT SLING SWIVELS ARE USED?
A: We supply two “Made in America” one inch sling swivels.Q: WHAT SHADES OF LEATHER ARE OFFERED?
A: We offer a darker Chocolate Brown, lighter Saddle Tan and our new Charcoal Black. All from only top quality 5/6 ounce veg-tan leather hides.Q: WHAT ARE MY CHOICES OF HARDWARE FINISH?
A: The harness hardware (snaps, rivets and eyelet) and the sling strap Chicago screws are available in Black, Brass or Bright/Nickel. Please note that the supplied Magazine Tube Clamp and Sling Swivels are available in black only.Q: CAN THESE BE MADE LEFT HANDED?
A: “Harness Hand” under “Options” simply refers to the handedness of the shooter. For a right handed shooter we place the harness snaps on the right side of the butt stock away from the shooters cheek. The opposite is true for a left handed shooter. So… yes, we can do left handed. Simply select “Left Hand” in the option list below.Q: HOW IS THIS PRODUCT PRODUCED?
A: This is a handmade product and may vary slightly from the images shown, minor blemishes can be expected. As with all of our leather products, hide thickness, shade, stitching and lacing may vary. Please see pictures for cosmetic differences.Q: HOW WILL IT FIT?
A: Expect fitment to be tight. It is common for proper fitment to require manipulation and multiple attempts. We have made every reasonable effort to ensure fitment with the platforms listed below. However, it is impossible for us to allow for all manufacturing variation. If fitment is unacceptable, we will happily work with you to exchange for another sling series.Q: IS THE SLING STRAP ADJUSTABLE?
A: Yes. The 1″ wide, 34″ long sling strap has three adjustment holes approximately 1-1/4″ apart. You can easily add more if required.Q: HOW ABOUT PRODUCT AVAILABILITY?
A: These are produced only when an order is placed. The unit value shown in the “Reserve” field below is necessary for order generation and is not an indication of product on hand. Generally, a shipping lead time of a week can be expected. However, this can sometimes be as much as two weeks subject to leather availability and other factors.Q: WHERE IS THE PRODUCT BRANDED?
A: First, we cannot offer un-branded product. Second, e no longer brand the product on the right side of the harness. Our current product branding logo is positioned at the butt plate of the rifle.Q: WHAT ACCESSORIES ARE OFFERED?
